Before you can send campaigns, you need contacts. HighSMS lets you add them one by one, import thousands from a CSV file, and organize them into groups.
Adding Contacts
Go to Contacts and click Add Contact. Fill in their name, phone number (with country code like +1), and email. You can also select multiple contacts with checkboxes for bulk editing or deleting.
Importing from CSV
Got a spreadsheet of contacts? Click Import CSV and upload your file. Your CSV needs a phone column (with country code like +1). You can also include name and email columns — the importer recognizes common column names automatically. If a phone number already exists, the contact gets updated instead of duplicated.

Creating Groups
Groups are how you select recipients for campaigns. Go to the Groups tab, create a group like "VIP Customers" or "New Leads", then select contacts and click Add to Group. A contact can be in multiple groups.
Tags
Tags are quick labels you can attach to any contact — like "interested", "follow-up", or "event-2024". Use the tag filter dropdown to quickly find contacts by tag.
